Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with the facility procedures and Mediare guidelines on the assigned unit.
  • Assess resident’s care needs and take any appropriate action.
  • implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Supervise all assigned staff on the unit and be responsible for the quality of nursing care provided to the residents.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor assist the DON/ADON on staff development, organization, and implementation of any/all approved training, policies and procedures.
  • Perform counseling and direction to unit staff and recommend any disciplinary action to the DON/ADON as appropriate and necessary.


  • Possess and maintain a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Long Term Care environment, strongly preferred
  • Must be able to move, lift, and position patients
  • CPR Certified
  • Prompt, punctual and professional
  • Self-directed with attention to detail.
