RN, MDS Coordinator
This position is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Medicare/Medicaid case mix documents to ensure appropriate reimbursement for care and services provided within the facility. This position conducts concurrent MDS reviews to assure achievement of optimal allowable RUG category. The RNAC is responsible for the oversight of the overall process of tracking MDS/PPS documentation and submission; this will integrate nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, activities, rehab, and physician services to ensure appropriate assessment and reimbursement.
Job Type: Full-time Mon-Friday.
- • Current RN nursing license as required by Maryland State Law
- • Current CPR license
- • Previous long term care experience a plus
- • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as state, federal and regulatory requirements that pertain to long-term care
