Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistants – Full-time & Part-time
Harrison House of Snow Hill is a 67-bed skilled nursing facility located in Snow Hill, MD. Family owned and operated, we take extra pride and care in the services delivered to our residents. We believe exceptional patient care comes naturally when our staff feels respected and valued. We are currently looking for a LICENSED Geriatric Nursing Assistant
Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistants are needed to fill the 11p-7a shift and PRN all shifts.
Current GNA licensure required through the Maryland Board of Nursing.
Geriatric Nursing Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist our residents with their activities of daily living
- Assist with transferring, transporting, and turning or re-positioning residents
- Perform restorative or rehabilitative services with residents
- Report resident, family, and staff concerns
- Assist with investigating and reporting incidents
Geriatric Nursing Assistant Requirements
- Possess and maintain a current Maryland license as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
- Must be able to move, lift, and position patients
- CPR Certified
- Prompt, punctual and professional
- Self-directed with attention to detail

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Overnight shift
- Weekends
Supplemental Pay:
- Bonus pay

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Vital Signs Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (Required)
