12.17.2013 Harrison House of Snow Hill won the third place ribbon in the commercial category during last night’s town judging of the lights!!

Thanksgiving was celebrated a week early as residents and their families gathered for the annual Harrison House of Snow Hill event. The Dietary staff prepared a delicious traditional dinner that was enjoyed by 70 guests.

Spirits were high on Halloween when Harrison House of Snow Hill opened the doors to safe trick or treating for local children. About 100 ghosts and goblins, as well as Spider Men and princesses, enjoyed receiving candy from the residents, many of whom were also in costume and looking very scary, themselves! We’re not sure who enjoyed the event more: the children, residents or employees!

The family of former resident Donna Kay Clark presented Harrison House of Snow Hill with a handsome and sturdy bench in her memory and to honor the outstanding care provided by the staff of Harrison House.  On the day the bench was placed in the breezeway, the family also hosted a pizza party for the staff.  Harrison Senior Living greatly appreciates this generous gift. We know that residents and their families will enjoy it for years to come!

I can’t express how much I appreciate all you do for my sister. Thanks for your patience, understanding and cooperativeness you always show her.

I enjoy all the different activities they offer. The meals are delicious too.

Thanks so much for putting together the Family/Friends picnic. As first-timers, we had a ball and appreciated all you must have done to make it a success!
